1 Lima - Ica City Tour

14:00 Arrival to Ica, reception and transfer to the selected hotel, then we will make City Tour, visiting the Plaza de Armas, La Huacachina Lagoon, Luren Sanctuary, Cachiche, land of witches, palm trees with 7 heads and an artisan wine and pisco winery. Return to the hotel. Overnight

2 Ica- Paracas, Ballestas Islands - Paracas Reserve


Pick up from the hotel will then be transferred to Paracas.

08:00 We will go to El Chaco pier, from this place we will depart to the Ballestas Islands in modern slippers where you can enjoy a wonderful tour to the BALLESTAS ISLANDS, located in the Bay of Paracas. Where you can appreciate this wonder of nature and wild marine life such as sea lions, Humboldt penguins, black or guanay cormorants, flamingos, parihuanas and various sea birds. Sea lions are likely to come to the boat and many penguins are seen in the water. Thousands of seabirds fly between the islands and their nests can be seen on the rocks. 09:00 We start the journey to visit the Inca ruins of Paredones, a tambo, built a long time ago by the Incas. In this place we will explore the stone enclosures and receive an introduction about the history of the Incas by our local guide. Then we will visit an archaeological zone known as Las Agujas, where it is possible to observe a huge trapezoid from the top of a small hill.

Here our guide will inform you about the various theories of the Nasca lines and will have the opportunity to have a closer view of a famous design built more than a thousand years ago.

Finally we will visit the aqueducts of Cantayoc, where we will witness the great ingenuity of the ancient inhabitants, who in their struggle for survival built underground canals, which are still used today. Our guide will provide us with interesting information about the ancient hydraulic engineering, irrigation issues and way of life of the Nazca. In the surroundings you will be able to appreciate a natural scenario of cotton, corn, potato, etc. plantations. (the fruits are seen, depending on the season).
