08:30 We begin the guided tour to Antioquia, located in the middle valley of the Lurín River, 43 km from Cieneguilla, through the affirmed road that leads to Huarochirí. Through Cieneguilla we will visit the archaeological zone of Huaycán; where you can appreciate its great walls, aqueducts, stones carved in the Inca Cuzco style, the cemetery, as well as its friezes on the walls with features of animals and various forms. Continuing the tour, you will see remains of the existing Inca trail in the area, then we will arrive at the village of Nieve Nieve; to know its history and the reason of the name (optionally you can eat corn with cheese in the restaurant in the area) following our path we will go through Sisicaya, where we will learn the legend of its origin.
Then we will go to Cochahuayco, in this place we will know the interesting architecture of its houses and its colonial church of the XVII century. Finally we will arrive in Antioquia whose town has been decorated almost entirely with large paintings representing a beautiful flora and fauna, so similar to a town taken from a story; you can get to know your church, you can also walk to the viewpoint. We will learn about the agroindustry of the place based on apple and quince may see the development of apple nectar, cider and jam of the aforementioned products. Time to eat and taste the typical food of the area in a good restaurant. (Free). After enjoying our delicious lunch we will go to Santa Rosa de Chontay, considered as a Pre-Inca Administrative Center where we will get to know its history and we will visit the area, ending our tour of this beautiful place.
