14:30 Start with the visit to the Huaca Arco Go to the offices located in the district of Esperanza, the Huaca Arco Iris belongs to the Chimú culture. Continue with the writing of the Chan-Chan Site Museum, Nik Palace. Former Tschudi Palace (Chan-Chan) being the largest adobe-built city in America and the second in the world, declared a World Heritage Site by unesco. Next, the Huanchaco Spa, which in its waters has still developed Caballitos de Totora , traditional rafts used by fishermen from the north coast since pre-Columbian times. Huanchaco is one of the favorite beaches for surfers.

Return to the hotel, overnight.

2 HUACAS DEL SOL AND LA LUNA

10:30 Campiña de Moche, artisan zone and museum site of the huacas del sol y la luna. Huacas del Sol (sighting) and huaca de la Luna and site museum. Considered as a moche sanctuary constituted by a set of monuments. This archaeological site physically represented the capital of the Moche culture from the 1st century BC. C. until the ninth century.

This culture offers, in addition to the ceramics called huaco portraits, or figures of gold and silver, ritual scenes, of battles between warriors, where the defeated were taken to the temple to be sacrificed and obtain the blood, symbol of fertility and renewal of their power.

This ceremony was not seen by the townspeople, but it was a private ritual among the priests. In this enclosure is represented a God who was very important to them and their culture.
