1 Arrival in Lima

Arrival in Lima, assistance and transfer tothe hotel. Free time to relax and acclimatize

2 Archaeological Zone Huaycán-Snow Snow-Antioquia.

We start the tour guided toAntioquia, located in the valley of the Lurin River, atthe 43km point from Cieneguilla on a sealed road that leads to Huarochirí. Within Cieneguilla we visit the archaeological site of Huaycan, where you can appreciate its great walls, aqueducts, stone carvings in the Cuzqueño Inca style, the cemetery and its friezes on the walls with animal features and different ways. Continuing the tour will observe existing remnants of the Inca trail in the area, and then arrive at the town of Nieve Nieve, in order to learn of its history and why the name was adopted. (Optionally you can eat corn with cheese in a restaurant in the area). Continuing on our way we pass Sisicaya, where we learn of the legend of its origin.

Later we leave for Cochahuayco, where we will learn of the interesting architecture of its homes and its seventeenth century colonial church. Finally arrive in Antioquia whose village has been almost entirely decorated with large paintings depicting beautiful flora and fauna, so much like fairy-tale a town where you can locate its Church and it is possible to walk to the lookout. We will learn of its agro-based apple and quince industry and we can see the manufacture of nectar of apple cider and jam of the above products. Time to eat and enjoy the typical local food at a good restaurant. (Free time) After our delicious lunch we head for Santa Rosa de Chontay, considered to be a Pre-Inca Administrative Centre, a place of which we will learn of its history and tour the area, and so ending our tour of this beautiful place.Transfer to the airport or bus station.
