Breakfast.

Departure to the city of Caral Breakfast. We leave for the famous CARALand oldest civilization of America: "CARAL", which is located in the district of Supe, Barranca province, Department of Lima. To arrive at this Holy City it is necessary to travel by the Pan American Highway North up to 184km. This civilization was formed in the North Central area of Peru, earlier than any other site in the Andes and the Americas. The development of the people of this area was intermittent, in comparison to others which inhabited the continent.

Their age can only be compared with the few civilizations of the Old World: when Egypt built the ancient pyramids of Saqqara or later the pyramids of Cheops, Kefren and Micerino in the valley of Giza, between 3, 000 and 2, 500 BC. The Caral pyramid structures have been remodeled and rebuilt and its plaza was periodically used for concentrations of people for economic, social and religious purposes. Also in this beautiful place, you can appreciate the great stepped pyramid, which held its splendor for 5, 000 years, also coming to know its circular plazas, residential areas, sunken temples, etc. Time to sample Peruvian food at a good restaurant. (by passengers) Afterwards we head up to the 175km point of the Pan-American Highway where we find the beautiful ecological naturereserve of Albufera de Medio Mundo. Here we can enjoy its beautiful sandy beach and its gentle waves, also coming to know the great lagoon of 7km in length as home of a variety of resident and migratory birds. Here we can also take tours on boats or typical reed canoes (as an optional activity) to enjoy the beautiful seascape. Here we will also take an exploratory walk within the reserve so that you can learn about some marine species, sea-lions, sea-snails, dolphins, etc. The afternoon is free to enjoy the beach.
