1 Cusco - City Tour - Local Ruins

On arriving at Cusco, meet and taken to your hotel.

14:00 We begin the City Tour, visiting attractive tourist sites such as: The Main Plaza, Cathedral, Koricancha, etc. , after which we visit the four ruins within 15 minutes of the city: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. Return to your hotel overnight.

2 Cusco – Sacred Valley of the Incas

AM breakfast.

09:00 we begin all day excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas during which we will visit the towns of Calca, Lamay and the Pisaq Indian Market. In the afternoon we will visit the Ollantaytambo Fortress, returning to Cusco visiting the town of Chincheros.

3 Cusco - Machu Picchu

A.M. Breakfast.

5:30 You will be taken to the train station in order to begin your excursion of the entire city of Machu Picchu, a journey of approximately 3:30 hrs. by tourist train. Arriving in Aguas Calientes, we board a mini bus in order to climb up to the ruins of Machu Picchu, where we will have a guided tour of the main buildings. Return to Aguas Calientes Return to Cusco transfer to your hotel. Overnight

4 Cusco - Maras moray Salineras

09:00 The tour starts with a visit to the Colonial town of Maras and its church. From Maras we continue to the nearby Inca site of Moray, a magnificent series of terrace circles set into the ground that were once used by the Incas for experimentation with crops. Our final destination are the salt mines which have been in use since Pre-Inca times. Water from a subterranean stream is channelled through pools where it evaporates and leaves behind pure salt crystals. With thousands of stark white pools stretching down the valley, the views are stunning.
