A shiringuero camp will also be visited, one of the most important economic activities in the

region of Madre de Dios. It is the reproduction of a real camp

where you can see the artisanal process of rubber collection (better known as latex)

which is used for countless products.

The time for this trekking is 2 hours.

Free time: Upon returning to the lodge you can relax in the pool or in the hammocks on the

terrace of your bungalow, have an exotic cocktail at the bar, get a relaxing massage by

qualified staff, buy a jungle souvenir in our craft shop or

go to the dock on the river to watch the sunset.

When the guide finds a suitable place and while we observe nature in its maximum expression, we can consume our breakfast. On the way back, we will make sure to have all our belongings and start the walk back to the Lake Sandoval dock.

Visit to a chestnut camp. The chestnut (or Brazil nut, as it is known worldwide) is another of the most important economic activities in the Madre de Dios region.
