Exclusive Jungle Tour

Our Guide collects you from the airport or your hotel in our private bus. You will be accompanied by a permanent English speaking Guide during the whole trip. City tour of the principal attractions of Iquitos: The Main Square, The Catholic Cathedral, The cast Iron House built by EiffelThe Boulevar. Visit the Municipal Museum. Note: Please note that the City Tours may take place on the final day of the tours and not the first day depending on the flight arrival time of the passenger).

We board our boat for the trip up the Nanayand Momon rivers (Note: It is quite possible that you will share the boat trip with other passengers who are entering the lodge at the same time).

Visit to Pilpintuwsi Butterfly Farm.

Vist to the Serpentarium to see snakes and other exotic animals.

Upon arrival at the Lodge we are warmly greeted with a welcome drink made of local tropical fruits.

Free Afternoon: we enjoy the facilities at the lodge such as the large swimming pool, the water slide, the Jacuzzi as well as going to the top of our two towers to enjoy the view or relaxing on the balcony overlooking the Momon river to watch the boats sailing by and observe the birdlife. Our Guide fascinates us with tales of the jungle.

Breakfast at the Lodge. 05. 30 We trek to a place for bird watching, canoeing for an hour to hear the songs that different birds emit in awakening. This is followed by a walk to explore the jungle with the guide explaining different medicinal plants, insects, birds, butterflies and other species. We visit the Jibaro tribe and the villages of Gen-Gen and Centro Fuerte to learn about their customs. We visit the "Chullachaki"Mini-Zoo, the Botanical Gardens with the guide explaining tales of the jungle. Lunch and dinner included.

Take a hike to the Trapiche where you will taste delicious sugarcane liquor. Visit Piranha Park, to see five lakes containing piranhas, crocodiles. Fishing to harvest the abundant variety of fish in the river. We have a musical jungle jam session using a variety of local acoustic instruments.

Visit the Boras Indigenous TribeWe head back to the city of Iquitos. Observation of the meeting of the waters Nanay and Momon River. (Sometimes you can see the pink or gray dolphins) City Tours: (if not done on thefirst day) QuistocochaZoo and Lake The floating city of Belen also known as the Venice of the Jungle.
