7:30 AM We will stop in Chancay for breakfast.

10:00 AM We continue along the Panamericana Norte and take a detour that will lead us to the sacred city of Caral, considered the oldest in the Americas, almost as old as Egypt, Mesopotamia, India, and China. We will tour much of this citadel accompanied by a local guide who will explain more about the history of this ancient civilization. We will see its monumental pyramids, the amphitheater, its offering hearths, its central plazas, the residential areas, and its religious centers.
