06:00 Am arrival at Huancaya
We will arrive around 6:00 am in Huancaya, we take advantage of the hygienic services after a long journey throughout the night
07:00 AM Breakfast
Free time to have breakfast with typical dishes and recharge our energies for the walks in this beautiful town
08:00 Am Waterfalls and colonial bridge
We will visit the surroundings of the town, observe the Cabracancha waterfalls, and visit the colonial calicanto-style bridge. (Approx. 15 min walk.)
08:50 Am Carhuayno lagoon viewpoint
Tour through the landscapes of Carhuayno and the beautiful water mirrors found on the way to the beauty of the lagoons of: Huallhua, Chuchupasca, Huascacocha.
10:00 AM we head towards the boat ride
We head to the Huallhua lagoon where we will walk approx. 25 min to the lagoon, downhill, to take boat rides for approx. 40 minutes, surrounded by turquoise waters, mountain chains, typical vegetation, and whimsical waterfalls like "las rosas".
12:00 PM Return walk
We will walk back to the transportation uphill for approx. 40 minutes
1:00 PM Huancaya Square
Tour of the Plaza de Armas of Huancaya. Also, the local museum, free time for shopping for souvenirs and local products (cheese, honey, trout). Also visit the viewpoint of the hanging bridge
1:30 PM Huancayano Lunch
2:30 PM on the way back view of Piquecocha lagoon
On the way back to Lima, we will briefly stop at Piquecocha lagoon where we can take photos and then continue the journey to Lima.
5:00 PM tasting of macerated wines, nectars of local products with prior coordination
