07:00 We begin our trip to San Jeronimo de Surco village in our privatetransport, duly acco mpanied and led by an official tourism guide who will let you know you all the information you need and also tell you a little about the history of the places we pass along our journey. Our first destination is the beautiful place of Chosica where we stop and you can buy supplies for the trek, then arrive at the village of San Jeronimo de Surco, located at Km 67 of the Central Highway.

09:00 We begin our visit at the Plaza de Armas and the Church of San Jerónimo, visit the colonial towera stairway of ancient design get us to bells dating back to 1737 when the construction of the church was started.

Then we will move on towards the Antakallo Falls. On the journey we visit the village of Matucana, capital Huarochiri, the railway station and ancient Republican Houses. We continue walking across the Chucumayo creek which has a steep climb in the first section but then the path becomes horizontal and easy. This is a journey that takes about 50 minutes at a moderate pace. As we ascend we see a panoramic view of the small valley of Matucana, and their livestock in the meadows where we can see the famous Lion's head, the face of Christ, and other rock formations. We visit the Vicky Caves which have been produced by the ongoing landslides in the area during the rainy seasons. Here we find a great amount of vegetation (lichens, mosses, cacti, etc. ). Afterwards we pass through a suspension bridge before reaching the Falls. Once there, the surrounding vegetation is much more abundant, full of plants, trees and flowers native to the region, and those who wish can swim or soak your feet in the clear waters of this stunning waterfall approximately 50 meters high. NOTE: The walk does NOT require experience only fitness. Return to Matucana Lunch Free time for shopping. We recommend the local delicious bread rolls, cheeses, avocados and local produce. Return to Chosica where we take a short city tour and buy the delicious picarones or their famous “anticucho” (kebab of cow’s hearts) in the main square. Return to Lima on the Central Hwy
