Welcome to Puerto Maldonado, the vibrant heart of Peru's biodiversity. Your adventure begins with a city tour in a private bus, offering a glimpse into local life. Our journey continues to Capitanía, a quaint river port. Here, we board a motorized boat and set sail across the enchanting Madre de Dios River.

As we voyage deeper into the jungle, keep an eye out for fascinating wildlife such as theronsoco, caimans, turtles, herons, and cormorants. Upon arrival at the Ecoamazonia Lodge, you'll be greeted with a refreshing welcome drink. After settling into your cozy bungalow, savor a delightful lunch.

2 Discover the Wonders of Lake Apu Victor

Wake up to the delightful song of birds in the surrounding canopy. After breakfast, embark on an exciting jungle tour, navigating specially-prepared paths and canyon bridges.

Visit Caimans’ Cave
Explore the majestic Lake Apu Victor with its crystal-clear waters, jungle marshes, and giant trees
Ascend to an observation point for a spectacular panorama over the lake

Observe vibrant parrots, guacamayos (aras), toucans, camungo, shanshos, herons, and other wildlife like caimans and turtles. With luck, catch a glimpse of the giant otter, the jungle’s most impressive animal. After a morning of exploration, return to the lodge for a delightful lunch.

In the afternoon, head to the Gamitaná River. Don't forget a hat, sunblock, and a swimsuit. Enjoy fishing or take a refreshing dip in the river before returning to the lodge for a delicious dinner.

3 Morning Farewell and Departure
